We have many happy memories from years enjoyed in the company of Chuck and Mary. She loved her family with all her heart. May you find comfort in this time of grief.

My heartfelt sympathies are with Honey's family. Colie, I love you to pieces. At the end of the day, remember to let yourself grieve. I am always here for you.

I went to High School with Mary, BE class of 61´. Our kids went to Nativity School where we served in the lunch room together. She was always fun to be around and such a sweet lady . My condolences to her family.

I remember Mary well. She was friendly, kind and had a knack for fashion. I recall her wearing straight skirts to school before the rest of us caught on.
At Blessed Sacrament Grammar School Mary and I were among the shortest girls in our class. This meant we got to be in the first row for class photographs.
In 1957, we students were fourteen. Graduation day was coming in June. As girls will do, we discussed among ourselves what we hoped to wear besides the required robe, hat and tassel to our graduation ceremony. Our usual footwear was oxfords, loafers, or flats. Our mothers agreed to allow us this bit of acknowledgement that we were growing up to be young ladies. It seems some of mothers were also chatting among themselves. Permission was granted and we purchased our first pair of heels. Would the extra height banish us shorties to the second row in our Graduation from Grammar School group shot.
Looking at my photo album, I see both Mary and me on the front row of the class photograph. Alongside of us are classmates Adrienne, Anita, and Cynthia. Lucky for us shorties the tall girls wore high heels too.
It was fun knowing Mary and in high school we found more commonality. She was a whiff of spring on a cold winter's day. Mary and I were chosen by Sister Loyola to ferry the right chemicals out for our chemistry lab experiments. I suppose we looked trustworthy and did a passable job because we were never scolded.
Mary was a good person and a good listener. Condolences to her family. - Annette Buero Gill
