Mary Margaret Simpler Leddon SUMMERVILLE - Mary Margaret Simpler Leddon, 84, born Sunday, August 22, 1937 in Coffee Springs, Alabama, and died Wednesday, September 8, 2021. Mrs. Leddon was a member of The Revival Center Non-Denominational Church in Summerville, SC. She graduated from Paxton High School in Paxton, Florida in 1953 and married her husband of 51 years, Leo Levy Leddon, in 1955. She was a devoted United States Air Force wife and lived in various states in America as well as Great Britain. She was active in the life of her children and grandchild in their formative years and very active in her church in her later years. Mrs. Leddon is preceded in death by her parents, Lassie and Lucy Simpler, her husband Leo Leddon, Sr., her son, Michael Leddon, her brothers, Hollis Simpler and Carlis Simpler, and a sister, Verdell Murdock. She is survived by a son, Leo Leddon, Jr. (Sheryl) of Millry, Alabama, her daughter, Denise Leddon of Ladson, South Carolina, her grandson, William "Billy" Wallace, Jr. of Ladson, South Carolina, her sister, Burnell Mack of Milton, Florida, and her brother, Thomas Simpler of Lockhart, Alabama, various nieces and nephews, many friends, and loving caregivers, Cindy Conklin of Summerville, South Carolina, and Rita Williams of Goose Creek, South Carolina. Pallbearers include Jason Leddon, Donnie Murdock, Rick Simpler, John Spivey, Billy Wallace, and Bobby Zills A funeral service was held at Davis-Watkins Funeral Home, 1474 State Highway 83 North, DeFuniak Springs, Florida 32433, at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 and interment followed at the Gaskin Cemetery in Gaskin, Florida. The Reverend John Wesley Spivey moderated the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to The Revival Center Non-Denominational Church at P.O.
