You opened your home, heart and all that you had to not just me but my entire family. You were and will forever be my other mom. Nobody could tell the difference between wheather Paul or me was the child u gave birth to. My mom gave you freedom to correct me as you saw fit and you did lol. We love u so much. Even though you said not to as soon as I set a wedding date I ordered your ticket because it would have not been the same without you. My brother Paul will always be welcomed anywhere me n mom are. I called u often in these last days and hope you got my messages and knew how we hurt with you and prayed for Gods will n mercy. We miss you terribly.. Rest Mom. Paul has me, mom ,Kathy n many more I'm sure he can lean on.

Mamie You will definitely be missed. I didn't get to know you until later on in my life. Edith and I were always close. You were away in Ny. I loved Your style and Your attitude. You didn't bite Your tongue and always smelled good. I'm sorry I wasn't there in the last days, but I did see You before Your transition. Rest on my Cousin and I'll see You on the other side.'l

You were my mommy's baby sister. The one who filled the void when her life came to an end. You drove me to the hospital when I had my 1st child. And with baby #3 a precious little girl you watched as the neonatal team brought her back to life in the delivery room. Your prayers kept us all encouraged.
You were my Aunt, my confident, my friend, and my surrogate mother. I bought this card for you for Mother's Day but I never got to mail it and now you're gone. Rest In Peace Aunt Mamie as we called you. There is more pain for you. Tell my mom I said hi and that I love her.
Tell Uncle Junbug I still miss our Sunday evening conversations. Say hi to Aunt Viola let her know how much it meant to me that she was going to call me when she woke up from her nap.
Wow I know you're in good company because you are with Uncle Hoppie and Aunt Laura too. Please tell Uncle Hoppie how bad his favorite football team played last year.

I was so happy to have spent time with you and care for you last week. I didn't know if you would recognize me and mom but you did. And when you blew her a kiss just before we left you we were certain that you were fully aware of our presence.I hope that I gave you some comfort and I will always remember our time together in New York. You will forever be in my heart. May God receive you into his kingdom.

I light this candle in memory of my friend, Ms Mary. A sweetheart, who used to give me words of encouragement and never depart without my hugs and kisses. I surely will be missing all those warm greetings when I enter the doors of St. James.
RIP my friend, until we meet again. Heaven has gained a wonderful Angel.
