After meeting Sister Brenden years ago at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Simpsonville, my father and mother, Roger and Thelma Barnett, visited her several times here in Charleston after her retirement. My mother thought so highly of her and I could see why after meeting her. She was such a sweet lady with nothing but kindness in her heart. It was a blessing to know her.

What a special person and after all this time on earth she has earned a well deserved rest. We had intended to be at the funeral Mass but circumstances will prevent that. So many fond memories at St. Mary Magdalene

I met Sr. Brendan many years ago when she was living in Greenville, SC with Sr. Helen Grobusky (my wife's aunt) and Sr. Carmilita. Over the years, we've visited the three sisters at the Charleston facility about twice a year. Sr. Brendan was always so wise and remembered all our stories that we talked about from past visits. She prayed for many of us over the years. Her devotion to God was inspiring. We will miss you dearly Sr. Brendan but will never forget you. God Bless forever.

Sister Brendan was there the day I was born. My mother was a nurse at Divine Saviour and I have so many memories of Sister Brendan. I am a registered nurse and I think of her as a role model-she was kind, compassionate, and nonjudgemental. She was amazing and a true blessing in the lives of many.

I remember this sweet lady so much. She was very devoted to her job and loved everyone. Hated it when we could not see her anymore. Her love for everyone stood out and her kindness. Loved her much.
