Mary Gubitoso Obituary

Mary T. Gubitoso, Market Street, Pittston, passed away on Wednesday morning at Hospice Care, Heritage House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born and reared in Pittston and lifelong resident of Pittston, she was daughter of Carlo and Mary Aita Solano. She was graduate of Pittston Township High School and St. John's Business School (Post Graduate) in Pittston. She was bookkeeper for Kelly and Mullin, a furniture store in Pittston, and also employed in the garment industry and most recently employed at Pittston Area School District. She was a member of our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Pittston and its choir.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Gubitoso.
Surviving are brothers, Nicholas Solano, Hughestown; Patrick Solano, Pittston Township; Frank Solano, Jenkins Township; Mrs. Carmel Insalaco, Pittston Township; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. from Adonizio Funeral Home Inc., 251 William St., Pittston. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston, with the Rev. Paul McDonnell officiating. Interment will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton.
Viewing is 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday.
