To Uncle Van and our cousins,
MA (Mary Alice) is now with her heavenly father whom she worshiped. She was a truly Southern, Christian lady who represented the best of humanity.
In life it is never the material things that are important, just the memories. The Knoechel family was so fortunate throughout our lives to be able to visit Charleston and stay with Uncle Van and Aunt Mary and our cousins Ricky, Dennis, Karen and Beth. Even though we grew up, 600 miles away in Cincinnati, we knew we were always welcome in the Fleming home and we have such wonderful memories of our times together.
We will miss Mary Alice greatly, but I know that she is now with her family who has gone before and her savior Jesus Christ.

DEAR VAN AND FAMILY, SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. MAY GOD HOLD YOU AND YOUR FAMILY IN THE PALM OF HANDS. YOU ARE IN OUR PRAYERS AND THOUGHTS DURING THIS MOST DIFFICULT TIME. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW MUCH SHE LOOKS LIKE AUNT ELLEN. SHE WAS SO MUCH LIKE HER LOVE LINDA AND CLARK AND FAMILY.

You're in my thoughts and prayers and may God's love give you strength during your time
of sorrow. We will all miss Mary and her beautiful smile...and her visits to come get her hair done. God bless you all.

Van And Children And Families:
So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She truly was a wonderful example of a Christian loving devoted woman of God. I am so glad she passed through my life at James Island Baptist and we shared many good times with our Sunday School Class. I will treasure this special friendship all my life. Condolences and love to all of you in your great loss. Keep your memories close in the days ahead and may our Lord give you peace. Know others share in your sorrow and prayers are lifted up for all of you in the days ahead as you go forward without Mary.
God Bless

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Hopefully reflecting on all the good times you've shared together will help ease the pain that you feel. May "the God of all comfort" strengthen you at this time of sadness, and may His promise for the future bring you peace. Hosea 13:14.
