Mary Di Biase Obituary

DI BIASE, Mary GEORGETOWN - Mary Cribb Di Biase, 83, died Thursday, January 11, 2007, at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 15, 2007, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Our Lady of Ransom Catholic Church. A Wake service and Rosary will be held Sunday at 6 p.m., with family visitation until 8 pm, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Internment will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Di Biase was born August 9, 1923, in Pleasant Hill, daughter of the late Clarence and Ethel Cribb. She was preceded in death by her husband, Generoso Jersey Di Biase, brothers Clifford and Kelly Cribb, and daughter-in-law, Fran Hall Di Biase. Surviving are: three sons, Fred (Patty) Di Biase of Jacksonville, Fla., Larry Di Biase of Camden, and Greg (Susan) Di Biase of Columbia; brother Bobby (Novelene) Cribb of Georgetown; sister-in-law, Gladys Cribb of Georgetown; grandchildren, Kim (Erik) Belknap of Ashburn, Va., Lauren (Allen) Skipper of Jacksonville, Fla., Carmen (Mac Tilden) Atkins of Columbia, and Angelo, Gabriel and Justin Di Biase of Columbia; and great-grandchildren, Chase, Tilden, and Caroline. Mrs. Di Biase was a devoted spouse and mother. She was full of life and full of love, a true caregiver and dear friend to many. She cherished the warmth and closeness of her extended family and the blessings she found in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to her doctors and staff of the ICU at Georgetown Memorial Hospital for their concerned care and compassion. My mother was born in Georgetown and I remember the name Cribb, being in our family history. I don't think there is a connection, but please accept my heartfelt sympathy.
