Mary Mantsch Buckheister EUTAWVILLE, SC - Entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 27, 2017, Mary Mantsch Buckheister, wife of Christopher Wayne Buckheister of Eutawville, SC. Memorial services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, November 4 at The Historic Church of the Epiphany in Eutawville. Born December 12, 1948, in Milwaukee, WI, Mrs. Buckheister was the daughter of Richard James Mantsch and Esther Springob Mantsch. She held significant positions in the fields of Child Development, Retail and Manufacturing. She will be remembered for her devotion to the care of children and for her passion as a handmaiden to her Savior Jesus Christ. Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters: Jill Ann (Brian) Guenther, Rebecca (Blair) Stewart, and Cheryl (Theophile) Duplantis; son Jeffrey (Erica) Meyer; sisters: Janet Mantsch and Ruth (Ronald) Glazewski; brothers: James (Sharon) Mantsch, Robert (Barbara) Mantsch, Raymond (Betty) Mantsch, Peter (Judy) Mantsch, David (Jeanne) Mantsch, Joseph (Ellen) Mantsch and Philip (Susan) Mantsch; grandchildren: Elliott Guenther, Connor, Makenzie and Daniel Meyer, Koen, Chloe and Macklin Stewart, Lucas, Dream and Brianna Duplantis. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105 or Alzheimer's Association, 4124 Clemson Blvd., Anderson SC, 29621.
