Mary Bee Obituary

Mary Ann Bee ROCKVILLE, SC - Mary Ann Flynn Izlar Bee, a committed Christian, passed away peacefully on Friday, the 11th of April, 2025, in Hendersonville, N.C. She was born on February 26, 1935, a daughter of Aubrey Edward Flynn and Phanie Perrow Flynn. She grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Capt. Sandiford Stiles Bee Jr., her daughter, Nancy Ashcraft (Michael), her son, Edward Izlar, grandchildren, Olivia Vedad, Audrey Bryson, Caroline Hendrix and William T. Izlar, great-grandchildren, Pierce Hendrix, Kalia Klenk, Ava Vedad and her first cousin, Pauline Zidlick. A celebration of Mary Ann's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, the 3rd of May, at St. Johns Anglican church in Resurrection Hall at 1811 Paulette Drive, behind the Pella door and window store on Maybank Hwy, Johns Island. Interment is at Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens next to her son, Thomas. Mary Ann worked for several Government and Educational institutions in North and South Carolina. Her passions were family, Christianity, music, fellowship and the Daughters of the King, in that order. She was predeceased by her mother, father, and the father of her children, (Thomas Izlar, Sr.), son, (Thomas Izlar), daughter-in-law, (Pollyanna Izlar) and Marguerite Harry, sister (Billy). She will be greatly missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice. Arrangements by J.
