Mary Allen Obituary

ALLEN, Mary ROCK HILL, SC - Mrs. Mary Josephine "Mary Jo" All Allen, 67, of 235 Lydia Street, died Monday, March 28, 2005, at Piedmont Medical Center. She was a native of Allendale, S.C. Funeral services will be held at Westminister Presbyterian Church, Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at 11 a.m. Dr. Shelton P. Sanford and Dr. William A. Fox, Jr. Interment in Forest Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was a native of Allendale, S.C., and the daughter of Ida Bryan All of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and the late Percy Hamilton All, Jr. She was a graduate of Winthrop University and an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church and Adult Bible Fellowship. She was a former member of the Junior Welfare League. In addition to her mother, Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Nye Walter Allen, III, of the home; her two sons, Nye Allen of Matthews, NC, and Bryan Allen of Rock Hill; three daughters, Bonnie Adkins and Betsy Knecht both of Rock Hill and Mary Anthony Nolan of Smyrna, GA; her sister, Candace Harvey of Mt. Pleasant, SC and 13 grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel, 2133 Ebenezer Road, Rock Hill and other times at the home of her daughter, Bonnie Adkins, 1412 Wells Court, Rock Hill, SC 29732. Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church Deacon Fund, 1300 India Hook Road, Rock Hill, SC 29732. GREENE FUNERAL HOME NORTHWEST CHAPEL IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
