Marvin Lomelino Obituary

Marvin H. Lomelino WALTERBORO - Marvin H. Lomelino, 82, of Walterboro, SC, widower of Lillian Carter Lomelino, died Friday, March 18, 2011, at Veteran's Victory House in Walterboro, SC. Graveside funeral services will be held Monday afternoon, March 21, 2011, at Plantation Memorial Gardens at 1 o'clock. Friends may call at PARKS FUNERAL HOME Sunday evening from 6 - 8 o'clock. Mr. Lomelino was born May 8, 1928, in Virden, IL a son of Harvey E. Lomelino and Pluma Monts Lomelino. He was a 20-year US Navy Veteran and served in Korea and Viet Nam. He retired from machine maintenance at Gem Star. Survivors include three stepdaughters, Gloria Cooper of Andrews, SC, Barbara Demaskey and Ginger Walker both of Summerville; one stepson, Oneal Davis of Mt. Pleasant; three sisters, Merge Lehums, Marjorie Owens, and Melva Parker all of IL; six brothers, Estell Lomelino, Harvey Lomelino, Jr., Herbert L. Lomelino, Melvin H. Lomelino, Howard Lomelino and Herbe Lomelino all of IL; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great- grandchildren.
