Martin Rowland Obituary

Martin "Marty" Patrick Rowland, Sr. ST. GEORGE, SC - Martin Rowland, age 64, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 14th, 2015. Marty was born on December 15th, 1950 in Charleston. Marty worked as a machinist for Robert Bosch for 25 years, and retired in 2012. He was an avid motorcycle rider and car enthusiast. He loved his T-Bird, his Harley, and his family. He is survived by his mother, Francis Rowland, his children, Martin Rowland, Jr., Kevin Rowland, Brian Rowland, and Jessica Rowland, and seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 20th, at the Simplicity Funeral Home, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, Suite E, in North Charleston at 3:30pm. we all will miss Marty.He was his own person.I got to know him in our apprentice class and we continued to work with or near one another until he retired.He was a good fella.

I just found out today my best friend passed we have been ford guys together for over thirty years .I will miss him stoping by the shop every chanch he got to talk abought his mom and his kids he loved them very much. And he wanted to start restoring his old falcon .Lord help and bless the family at this time . Love ya brother will miss every day.
