Martin Gipe Obituary

Martin Greenlee "Marty" Gipe, III, 58, of Holly Hill, SC, a self-employed painter, died Friday afternoon at his residence. Mr. Gipe was born December 22, 1966, in Bunker Hill, IN, a son of Martin Greenlee Gipe, Jr and Delma Teresa Jefferson Habermann. He was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Gipe enjoyed attending church and watching Charles Stanley on TV. His favorite scripture was Mark 8:36 "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?" He loved his family especially his Mom and Dad. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Amy Stanfield and Grace Habermann; his stepdad, George Habermann; and a niece, Ali Stanfield. Surviving are his mother of Charleston; a brother Justin Habermann of Charleston; his grandmother Ruth Jefferson of Round O; four Nephews, Willie Stanfield, Cody Stanfield, Jayden Bailey, and Ryan Habermann; and several Aunts and Uncles.
