Martin Bowers Obituary

BOWERS, Martin Martin Bowers, 75, of North Charleston, widower of Earline Bowers, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 20, 2007, at a local hospital. Born August 8, 1931 in Berkeley County, West Virginia, to the late Bill Bowers and Susie Parker Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a retired machinist from the Roofing Manufacturing Company with 23 years of service and the American Tobacco Company with 21 years of service. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters; Cindy Johosky and husband Tom of CA, Judy McCutcheon and husband Tim of North Charleston, SC, one son; Glenny M. Bowers of Ladson, also included are six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Bowers are predeceased by a daughter, Francis Elizabeth Bowers. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 24, 2007, 3PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, August 23, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. Arrangements are being handled by CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME.
