Martin Bowers Obituary

BOWERS, Martin Martin Bowers, 75, of North Charleston, widower of Earline Bowers, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 20, 2007, at a local hospital. Born August 8, 1931 in Berkeley County, West Virginia, to the late Bill Bowers and Susie Parker Bowers. Mr. Bowers was a retired machinist from the Roofing Manufacturing Company with 23 years of service and the American Tobacco Company with 21 years of service. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Harvest Baptist Church. He is survived by two daughters; Cindy Johosky and husband Tom of CA, Judy McCutcheon and husband Tim of North Charleston, SC, one son; Glenny M. Bowers of Ladson, also included are six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Mr. Bowers are predeceased by a daughter, Francis Elizabeth Bowers. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 24, 2007, 3PM at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Burial to follow in Carolina Memorial Park.
