Martha was a wonderful woman who always had a positive outlook on life and a warmness in her heart. If you ever stepped into her home, it was filled with great smells coming from her kitchen. She touched my life at the age of 28. I lost my mother when I was 24 and planned to wear her dress at my wedding. Martha stepped right end and fixed a few areas. Then had it dry cleaned. That meant the world to me and words cannot express how that made me feel. She was such a kind person. She will be missed by so many but I know she is where she needed to be, with God and her family in heaven.

She will always be my momma Litchfield to me. She would scold me if I needed it. Give her advice and love when I asked. We always enjoyed our conversations together. The laughter was always good. Oh, how the good times would roll as we would reminisce together for hours on end of the days of old.
