So sorry we could not be at Martha's
funeral today. She was a very good
friend years ago when we all lived in
the same neighborhood. Our children loved her as well. She always had some
goodie for them plus a Bible story and prayer. They loved to visit her as we
all did. She is in a happy place now.
Our sympathies go out to her family.

Mrs. Henderson was my next door neighbor growing up on James Island. She was like a grandmother to me and my brothers. I remember her telling me stories from the Bible and about her parents as missionaries in Japan. Truly, there must be a special place in heaven for her. I will never forget her kind heart and sweet spirit.

Okie,
I wish to express my sympathy on the loss of your mother. She was such a sweet lady, and I was happy to be able to know her. My prayers are with you at this time, Teekie Walker

Psalm 90:10 states, "In themselves the days of our years are seventy years, and if because of special mightiness that are eighty years." Although she lived a long life this does not relieve the pain that is felt by her love ones.
