Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have responded to Momma's passing with such kind words. Her work in the field of nursing, whether teaching or practicing that art in person, is her legacy and so in my eyes she will live on forever through that. I have no doubt that she's home now with her Lord & Saviour and one day I'll see her again. She'll probably be waiting at the gate, tapping her foot and asking "Where have you been?! I was getting worried!".

My heartfelt thanks again to you all.

Michelle,

I am so sorry for your loss. Words will never be enough to comfort you at this time. Just know that she is looking into our heavenly fathers face right now and talking to him about the many children that she taught at Sunday school. My thoughts will always be of her picking me up for school in that awesome station wagon and spending the night at your house! Oh my gosh and her laugh! I can hear it right now!!! You will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Michele.
Your dear mother was my instructor at MUSC School of Nursing when you were born and then I had the honor of working for her in the Practical Nurse Program....there she became my friend as our staff of about 6 RN's and Judy Chinnis, our secretary worked, laughed, played, did cross stitch together. I talked to her a year or so ago and as we all do, promised to see one another but never did. I loved your mom dearly; she was an amazing woman, so smart, Please know how saddened I was to hear just today that she had died...I would have been at the service had I seen it in the paper as I live in Columbia. She touched so many lives as our instructor and was a dear friend and "Boss" after that.
