He also had a passion for motorcycles and would frequent events like Bike Week in Daytona, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC. Marshall, Jennifer, and their two dogs, Beau and Charlie, lived at their home on Johns Island, SC. Predeceased by his father, Marshall, Sr. and his mother, Evelyn: Marshall is survived by his wife, Jennifer Hartmann; the mother of his children, Andrea Snelgrove Moore; his daughters, Sydney and Peyton; his brothers, William, Daniel, and Calhoun; and his sister, Sarah. I didn't personally know Marshall, but bought his pontoon before he went with his Fountain Boat back in Dam Bar days & it lasted YEARS! My care & condolences to all his loved ones, this is a man never forgotten! I loved your last pontoon, it was a dream to me. You would be so happy to know how much it was loved, how long it lasted, and the incredible memories made. God bless to all who love him. I know this is one that will be SO missed! Much love

Charlie and I are so stunned by the news of Marshall´s passing! We last saw Marshall and family at Sydney and Evans wedding. Marshall looked so good and was his "jolly" self! Our deepest sympathies go to all of the family and especially to Sydney and Evan. That was one of the "happiest moments" he shared! He was soo excited for Sydney and Evan starting their new life together! Again our thoughts and prayers are with all of you in your time of grief.

So very sorry for your loss! Marshall was a very humble person. I had the great opportunity to clean his new construction homes.
Never did I ever have to worry about getting paid.
In that industry some builders tends to delay payment,
But. It Marshall, sometimes he would hunt me down to pay me. I always had the upmost respect for him and his company.
Rest In Peace Marshall.
My thought and prayers are with your entire family.

Marshall was a great boating friend and client. He helped us build our first home in Lexington, SC and after all that aggravation, I hired Marshall to build our next house in Gilbert, SC. He did an awesome job and I referred him to anybody that wanted a high-quality home or building built for them. Marshall and I kept in touch after he moved to John's Island, SC. We visited him and Jen twice in the last 5-months...by boat, of course. Marshall loved living on the ICW...he told me that was always his dream. He always welcomed us for drinks and great conversation. He will be missed.

Like all of Marshall´s family and friends I am heartbroken since hearing this news.

Marshall and I spent days, weeks, months, and years together when we were all younger. We were youthful friends, high school buddies, and college roommates.

We worked together as private investigators (believe it or not) while at USC. I wouldn´t have met my lovely bride Molly if not for the lucky chance that she lived down the hall at USC from Marshall´s college girlfriend.

In the 1970´s Marshall´s grandmother and my grandfather both lost the loves´ of their lives. I promise Marshall and I did not set them up but we were always tickled that Granddaddy Hardee and Mommy Jane dated each other.

We went on several trips together. A call in the 1990´s... "William!!! I have tickets to the World Series. Pack a bag. Let´s go!" We went. Braves won! A call in the 2007 I think... "William... let´s go to Vegas." Off we went. Keith, Jeff, Tad, Bryan, Harry and I all had a blast! Not sure of the exact year, but..."William and Molly! Let´s go on a cruise." Off we went to Mexico and the Western Caribbean. I´m not real good at poker but on the ship Marshall taught me to always put a chip at the top of your dealing area in Caribbean poker. Guess what? I got a natural 4 of a kind all 8´s and thanks to my man Marshall I walked away from the table with $1,800 in chips.

The good times went on and on when Marshall was with you! I will miss Marshall like I´ll miss no one else in the world!

My prayers are with Jennifer, Andrea, Sydney, Peyton, Billy, Daniel, and all of the friends and family that are at a loss like so many of us.

Rest easy my friend, you will be in my heart always.

So very sad to learn about Marshall . He was truly a great friend and a man with a heart of gold . Everyone loved Marshall. I met Marshall as he was leaving the bank and deciding to begin his residential contractor Co. He was very successful. Marshall was such a good friend he built my house at cost . He was always there to give advice about my subcontractor business as well as advice on raising my son Nick as I was raising him on my own since the age of 1 . We traveled together a few times . I went with him when he was considering his move to John's Island to look at the house and lot he wanted to purchase which he did . He helped his brother grow the goldfinger business to greater success and employing a great staff . He called me to tell me about his next business opportunity that he was extremely excited about Okra Medical. He was so proud when Sydney got married. It was a beautiful ceremony on the intercoastal waterway on John's Island. He also was very proud of P ( Peyton) she was just married here in Lexington.
Marshall was my friend for 30 plus years he will be extremely missed .

Marshall and I had so many fun times in high school!! He was one of a kind. I always counted on him for rides home to Beaufort from Carolina. After I began teaching in Lexington, I was so surprised and happy when his oldest daughter, Sydney, was assigned to my class. Then, a couple of years later, his youngest daughter, Peyton, was in my class. Both of his girls have Marshall's happy spirit. I have always thought it was neat that I got to teach his children. Marshall will be missed dearly!!! Much love to the girls!!
