I will always remember the first time I met Marsha...it was in Chicago for our daughter Sarah's marriage to Phillip. We got pedicures together and talked about how happy we were about the pending wedding of our children. Fast forward five years, Marsha and I were in Alabama together, waiting for the birth of the next Amerson miracle. We were giddy, filled with such joy as we stepped out of the hospital elevator together to learn "it's a girl"...baby Renée Louise. The last time I saw Marsha was February 2, 2018. She drove me to the Dothan airport to catch a plane back home to Iowa. I was enthralled with her black driving gloves, even at the early hour of 4:30 a.m. I will miss you, Marsha, aka Bammer...thank you for the love, kindness and generosity you bestowed upon so many blessed to know you.
