Marlyn did everything "above and beyond" whether it was planning her daughter's wedding, creating an amazing Christmas card, or being the best Mom and Nana she could be. EVERYONE adored Marlyn. She was kind to all and just a wonderful human being. She will live on in our memories, and we will miss her greatly.

Bill and family, I was distraught when I received a very sad and shocking text from my niece. What a fun person and fantastic mother Marlyn was!! Please give me a call if I may do anything for you or her sweet family 802-530-9822. I would have been with you today if I had known in time. My prayers and sympathy, Retta Whitehead

We will forever miss our beloved sister Marlyn.
We will forever yearn for our sometimes lengthy conversations, e-mails,
texts, beautiful cards, her sweet voice, her wisdom, her immense love.
It was an honor to have had her in our lives.
We find comfort in knowing that she will no longer suffer and that she is
at home with our beloved Dad Ray, Mom Elaine and sister Marcia.
She will be in our hearts forever more!
To Bill and our nieces and nephews, we love you so much!

Bill and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time. Please know we are available to assist you in any way. Please just ask.

I'll always remember the fun and interesting conversations we have had with the three of us sitting at the kitchen table.

You are great and generous neighbors to Adam.

Just know that Marlyn is in a better place now, having completed this earthly journey.

Fondly,

John Witty

Dear Bill and Marlyn's children and little Ellie,
Marlyn was a dear high school friend. I'm deeply sorry that I cannot attend her services today or tomorrow. More painful is the fact that due to both of our health difficulties, we could not find a convenient time see each other in recent years after we reconnected. We did manage to catch up through email letters and phone chats. Many pictures crossed between us. And I was happy to see that she had a beautiful life with a terrific husband, Bill and three amazingly successful children. I also got to share in her thrill of being a grandmother to her precious Ellie. For all this, I am grateful.
Although it was lifetimes since Marlyn, Jackie Charley (Rust at the time) and I were in high school, the memories are as fresh as if it were yesterday. The three of us were inseparable. Marlyn was indeed special. I loved her warm smile, curious intellect, her appetite for fun and loving arms that hugged me through some difficult episodes.
I attached a photo of me in present time because I recall Marlyn saying that Bill did not believe I existed. He thought I was a figment of her imagination. Nothing more to say except stay strong.
May all of your loving memories of Marlyn help to fill some of your empty spaces through this time.

Sincere condolences,
Concha

I looked forward every year to Marlyn's home-made Christmas cards, sharing what the year's life was like for the Westin family. Her creativity brought smiles and created memories.

Although Marlyn is not with us physically, her spirit and love will always be. If we take a moment to step aside from the world's demands and focus our thoughts on a special memory, our hearts will feel Marlyn's love.

That love will never die. Feel it, hold it, share it as Marlyn would.
