Marlus Generali Obituary

GENERALI, Marlus Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of November 3, 2008, Marie-Luise Marlus Generali, first married to the late Karl Huber and widow of John Generali. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass, Saturday, November 8, 2008, in Nativity Catholic Church at eleven o'clock. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, Friday between three and five o'clock. Mrs. Generali was born March 7, 1921, in Danzig, Germany, the daughter of Wilhelm Sonntag and Lydia Sinz Sonntag. She held a degree in Interior Design and was a member of the Charleston Garden Club and was Past President of the James Island Garden Club. She was a loving mother, grandmother and the best great-grandmother, always there on our side. She is survived by one daughter Dr. Astrid LeNoir of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren: Kristin McCann of Charleston, SC and S. John LeNoir of New York, NY; three great-grandchildren: John Peter Lenoir, Henry Keith McCann and Catherine Elizabeth McCann. She was predeceased by a son: Dietmar Generali.
