I will really miss my neighbor we live on Rutledge for years. Always grinning how it was getting some what hard to even pull up in our own yard for the cars would drive so fast. She was such a wise gifted women. Years ago she would always decorate her fence and yard every occasional seasons.
She just loved to share her gifts.
And those quilts(Blessed). Yes, we thank you family for sharing her. You all are in our my prayer time.

A treasured Advisor, Mentor and Mother-friend, Dr. O'Bryant Seabrook will be dearly missed. I will cherish great memories of our work together on various cultural programs and her wise counsel urging me forward in the work. May she rest in peace. Her life was as bright and beautiful as the tapestry she weaved. My condolences to her family.

I am deeply saddened by the news of Dr. Marlene's passing. She really encouraged my quilting when I first started. My deepest sympathy to her family and friends. She will be missed.

I will always hold Dr. Marlene in my heart for she shared her knowledge of history and quilting with me on many occasions. Her beautiful quilt works always spoke to me and her lovely friendship will always be cherished.
