Mark O'Donnell Obituary

Mark Anthony O'Donnell CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Friday, December 4, 2009, Mark Anthony O'Donnell. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, (3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway), Sunday afternoon from three until five o'clock. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 9, in Gate of Heaven Catholic Church in Dallas, PA, at ten o'clock with prayers of final commendation in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Carverton, PA. Mark was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, on March 28, 1959, he was the son of Gerald F. O'Donnell, of Dallas, PA., and the late Dorothy Farrell O'Donnell. Mark was a graduate of Dallas High School, and attended Luzerne Community College and Wilkes University. He was a member of The American Legion Post #0644. He worked in sales and was a former member of Gate of Heaven Catholic Church, Dallas, PA. In addition to his father, Mark is survived by his daughter; Amanda Brown and her husband JR, of Charleston, SC, a son; Mark O'Donnell, Jr., of Charleston, SC, a sister; Michelle Stavish of West Wyoming, PA, three brothers; Gerald F. O'Donnell, Jr., of Hummelstown, PA, Jeff O'Donnell of Trucksville, PA, and Michael O'Donnell of Swoyersville, PA, and one grandson; James Brown of Charleston, SC. I was totally in shock when i heard of Mark's passing. Ole Rinestone was a great person and he will be sadly missed. I will cherish all the good times and all the memories from the past. God bless you all.. My thoughts and prayers are with you. May he rest in peace.
