I've been knowing Mark ever since 9th grade. Mark was a very cool and funny person. Knowing Mark for almost two years seems like I've been knowing him even longer. Trust me Mark and Ced will be missed. To Mark's parents you are in my prayers. God has received two new angels. It was a hard loss for Wooddale but we have worked through it. Mark and Ced R.I.P. The Wooddale family loves you very much.

Mark was a very loving and respectful young man who always smiled no matter what. I met him in 2003 and it wasn't a day that went by that I did not see him. I grew close to him, Wayne, and Ed. He will be greatly missed and so will Wayne. To the family, keep your heads up and remember to pray faithfully because I'm a witness that it is helping me get through this pain. I loved Mark like a little brother and he is greatly missed. RIP Mark and Wayne.

I am a student at Wooddale High School in Memphis, TN.
Mark and I have been friend since the 8th grade. I will miss his smiles, and the conversations we use to have in the 6th period classroom. I didn't know that Jan. 9th (in the sixth period class) would be our last conversation.
He and Cedrick Stanley always walked around in good spirits and with smiles on their faces.
I will alway remember both of them.
I will keep praying for the comfort of his family during these difficult times.
