Alease, Deacon Amos & Family,
Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. Your Mother was truly a "rare jewel" that was treasured by you and so many people for all the good things that she has done for you and for others.
I was told the story about her remarkable political career being the first Afro American women what a blessing she has been to so many people during her lifetime.
Your Mother lived a good life, fought a good fight now she is getting the rest that she deserves no more pain, no more sickness she is with the Heavenly Father & would not come choose to come back here on earth if she could.
Treasure the memories you have of her and the legend that she left keep them close to your heart.
Remember that your loss is Heavens gain that "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13

To the FAMILY of MRS. AMOS, please know that YOU have nothing to be sad about!!! Why? MRS. AMOS lived A LIFE NONE OF CAN EQUAL NOR SURPASS!!!
She excelled in every thing she did. She was also a model and mentor for many of us. She showed us how to be and do the thing GOD ORDAINED US TO DO AND BE.
Mrs, Amos and my Mother were contempories, at the American Tobacco Factory, and, were very active members of the Democratic Party. They opened many doors for the Charleston community, both in the union at the American Tobacco Co., and politically.
FOR THAT WE WILL ALWAYS BE GRATEFUL.
Please know that YOU are in our prayers and thoughts. And know that we grieve with YOU, and we will always remember Mrs. Amos.
GOD will take care of you.
Sincerely yours,Helen T. McKune, Mrs. Helen V. Thomas and family

Mrs. Marjorie Amos-Frazier
Dear Sweet Mrs. Majorie
You were the epitome of a lady, during time on “women rights”. Being 68 years of age, I have grown up seeing the justice and injustice in the realm of the woman. I seen “women” being abused and abusing; however, from the time that I’ve met you in 1984, you’ve been an example of what a lady in court of my Father God, the LORD and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ exemplifies.
I could say that I’m very sad at this time; but, that would be an understatement. I am sorry from an emotional perspective; but, spiritually, I am ecstatic to know that you joining my mom, Maggie in the heavenlies with HIM…
Your life was: By him, and with him, and in him, in the unity of the Holy Spirit all honor and glory is yours, Almighty Father, now and for ever. AMEN
Keep being a lady in the court of the LORD, for HIS mercies endureth forever.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mother Marjorie Amos-Frazier. I've been both honored and privileged to have had her to call on for counsel for many years. Her caring spirit and willingness to help endeared her to me. She was not only one of my heroes, but a mentor as well. I will honor her legacy by continuing the fight for those who need an ear to listen and a voice to be heard. May her sweet-sweet soul rest in peace.

To: All who Grieve the passing of Mrs. Amos-Frazier.
Marjorie would have wanted all of us to continue the fight for more freedom, equality. She saw, indeed helped make possible, the election of President Barack Obama. She would not have wanted us to sit on the sidelines and watch the loss of the things she fought for. We should continue the fight for human progress, in her name, as she smiles on all of us, from above.

TO: MEMBERS OF THE AMOS/FRASIER FAMILY
We will miss the pleasant smiles of Mrs. Margorie of Mrs Frasier, as we affectionately called her. A close friend of our mom and all of the women who worked at the Cigar Factory. She was instrumental in getting them all organized and getting insurance and other benefits at a time when it was the only place where Negro Women could find a place to work with the benefits , as other workers. May God bless the family of this standard bearer for us all.

To the children of Ms. Amos; Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of meeting your mother. She was an inspiration to my children and myself. She has shared so many things with me and accepted me into her life. For that I am very thankful to have been in her presence. Jerome we have had many times sitting and speaking with your mother. I thank you for allowing me into her life. She accepted me just as one of her own child. She once told me, when I had my youngest child, that she was always taught not to say anything if you don't have someone nice to say. Well your mother told me that my youngest child was a very beautiful child and had nothing but good things to say about her. She also told me a story about a baby that was not so beautiful. Ms. Amos was such a beautiful person, inside and out. Please keep your heads up and always stay together. That is something she would want to see always. Just put your hands and hearts into the ARMS OF OUR FATHER WHO ART IN HEAVEN. I know you love her but GOD LOVES HER BEST. Stay strong for each other. Always remember the good times and not the pain or illness she went through. May GOD keep you always.
Inez (Cleo), Shayla, Thaddeus, Divine, John and Izalee.
