My Mammy was wonderful. She often cared for me, Tammy, and Levon. I loved to eat her Sock It to Me cakes. She was an excellent cook.
I enjoyed reciting the 23rd Psalm and The Lord's Prayer with her. She always told me my head was hard as concrete. After I was grown and had children of my own, she would always say "take care of those babies." I would respond, "You taught me well." I look forward to the day when I sit beside her at the feet of Jesus.

God looked around his garden,
And found an empty place.
He then looked down upon the earth,
And saw your tried face.
So He wrapped his arms around you,
And lifted you to rest.
God's garden must be beautiful-
He takes the very best.
He saw the road was getting rough,
And the hills were hard to climb.
So He closed your weary eyelids and whispered,
"Yes it's time."
It breaks our hearts to lose you,
But you didn't go alone,
A part of us went with you,
The day God called you home.
To my dad, aunts and uncles,
May God's love and hope be with you at this very difficult time. I hope that you all can find peace in knowing that Granny Maroules was such a blessing and inspiration to those around her. She will be greatly missed.
Love you all!!

I remember Mrs. Fulton as a much-loved mother and grandmother who was loved by all who knew her. All of her family are in our prayers as they adjust to her leaving this world but in the knowledge that they will see her again in a much better place. I wish we could be there with all of you to offer our condolences in person.
