Paul was an all around great person! I remember freshman year when we had Spanish together and if Paul came to class, he would either be sleeping or making us laugh! He was so smart, and helped me so many times with spanish b/c i just couldn't get it...we had many talks in class and it led me to realize that Paul was one of the realist people i had ever met...my last memory w/ him was at Jared's b-day party a few years back when we were in the garage playing pool and Paul was beating everyone..we were all laughing and joking and having great conversation..I wish he could still be with us today b/c it is not very often you find a wonderful person like Paul was...He will always be missed and remembered by not only me, but many other ppl who's lives he has touched as much as he touched mine! My deepest sympathy to the family...May God give you the strength you need day to day....Much love Always & Forever~!

It's been about two months now since Paul passed and not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wish he could be here. I knew my life wouldn't be the same with out him and it's only now that I realize how much he really meant to me. I can't express how sorry I am to his family. I know that one day we will be there with him and I just can’t wait to finally hug and kiss him again! I know that he's watching over us and protecting us.

To The Hendrix Family-
Our sorrow for your loss can not be measured in words. Know that our love for you and your family is endless. Having met Paul at Christmas, there is no doubt his passing is a profound loss for everyone who knew him.
With all the lives he touched,
And all who felt his love,
Paul was, in his way,
Like the stars shine from above.

To the Mazzell family I've grown to know as my own... My whole life, I've been coming down to visit and you always made me feel so welcome and close. During this Christmas break was the first time I had seen Paul in over 4 years and he still greeted me like it was yesterday - like when we were fishing in the back pond or lighting off fireworks in the front yard. He always had a way of making you feel good even without having to say much. Just his grin alone or his relaxed and happy go-lucky personality made you feel comfortable to be around him.
You all know how sorry I and everyone else is for the loss of Paul and nothing anyone can say about him will ever be enough. It's true what they say . . . the good die young. My only regret about knowing Paul is I didn't get to know him enough. See ya when we see ya Paul.

Love to you all and pray you're finding the strength you need.

If we knew the perfect words to say, we’d say them. Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for your caring, kindness, thoughts, prayers and deeds shown in our time of sorrow. You have truly been a comfort to all of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

DEAR SON: THE WIND IS BLOWING DOWN THE STONO RIVER-A SHINING ROAD HAS CARRIED YOU HOME-OUR LOVE WILL LAST FOREVER-WE MUST GIVE YOU BACK TO GOD. I KNOW OUR GOD WILL GUIDE, PROTECT, AND KEEP YOU. TEACH YOU FAITH AND HOLD YOUR HEART. THOUGH OUR HEARTS ARE BROKEN BY YOU LEAVING, OUR FATHER KNOWS JUST WHO WE ARE. I WISH THAT LIFE WASN'T ENDING THIS WAY BUT IN GOD'S LOVING PLAN YOU HAD TO GO. GOD ONLY CRIES FOR THE LIVING PAUL-WE ARE THE ONES LEFT TO CARRY ON-ALL OF THE ANGELS UP IN HEAVEN ARE NOT GREIVING BECAUSE THEY AND YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE-WE WILL SEE YOU THERE IN THE PROMISED LAND-UNTIL THEN WE WILL KEEP THE FAITH. WITH ALL OUR LOVE, MOM, DAD, FRIENDS, AND FAMILY

Paul was one of a kind. He always had a smile on his face. His jokes could make anyone laugh. I was not as close with Paul as some, however he has touched my life. I will never forget the talks we had and the times we shared with our mutual friends. To Danielle and his family, I am truely sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Paul and know that you are missed by everyone.

I was not privileged to know Paul or his immediate family. But from what Yvonne tells me, he was quite an extraordinary young man. She and Robin are devasted by the loss.
I enjoyed seeing the photos. Wish I could be of some help to the family. If any type of memorial is planned, I would like to assist with it. Just remember, each week, it will be a little easier for all. The idea is not to forget him, but to replace the feelings of loss with the wonderful, fond memories that you have. So, each time you think of something that reminds you of him, bring up a funny or fond memory. I realize that you all know this, but sometimes it helps to hear it again.

So sorry, Keith

Beth, Anna, Naomi, Yvonne, Robert, and Clay
We were distraught when we heard the news about Paul. Our sympathy to you and your family. No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. One thing that will help you get through this, is God's word in the Holy Bible. The Bible gives us hope of seeing Paul again.

We can’t imagine what you must be going through. Please know that our thoughts, love, and prayers are with you during this very sad and difficult time. Let us know if there is anything we can do for your entire family.

Paul was a great person. He could take the bad and turn it around as good!! He rode to school with me one year and every morning it was a surprise, whether it was him being late or debating who was going to ride in the front; Of course paul would always win!!! I'm really going to miss paul!! The way i look at it is the Lord wants the good people up there with him, He couldn't have picked a better person. Many prayers and thoughts to his family!!
Love You,Ashley Camp

For those of you who did not have the pleasure of meeting this beautiful, free spirit, I am profoundly sorry. To all of his many, dear friends, thank you for sharing his life. I wish that I had known him like you all did, not just as his mom. For those of you, friends and family, who have been gifts from God, we offer you our eternal gratitude. Your quite presence, your acts of thoughtfulness, generosity, and the gracious gift of your time has touched us deeply. We are truly blessed to have the support of such dear souls and we will never be able to thank you enough.

We pray that you all have a safe and blessed new year. Hug your children, family, and friends a little longer, let go of any anger/resentment you may be carrying, wear your seat belts, do not drive faster than your guardian angel can fly, and please, seek Jesus in all that you live for. Paul would love to see you all in the contemporary service at St. James Episcopal Church. Listen for him during the guitar praise music. Take a minute and stop by his earthly resting place, visit for a while, and remember he loves you all.

Hendrix and Steed Family,
I got the privilege of meeting Paul for the first time a few months ago. He hugged me as if I was apart of the family. I remember his beautiful smile and that he was very sweet.
I can not begin to understand the pain you are going through.
I am praying for you and your family. May the Lord bless you, and keep you, and may he give you peace.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18) He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. (Psalm 91:4)
I love you Elizabeth and Kelly!

Highschool would have NOT been the same without my Paul, so full of life. Enjoying every minute as if it were his last. Paul was energetic, and outgoing making every opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. If his friend was down, he knew exactly what to do to cheer them up. He was a great person, and he will always be remember for the smile, the joy and the happiness he broght to everyone around him. I'm so sorry for your loss, all are in my prayers.
