Marion Hendrix Obituary

Paul was an all around great person! I remember freshman year when we had Spanish together and if Paul came to class, he would either be sleeping or making us laugh! He was so smart, and helped me so many times with spanish b/c i just couldn't get it...we had many talks in class and it led me to realize that Paul was one of the realist people i had ever met...my last memory w/ him was at Jared's b-day party a few years back when we were in the garage playing pool and Paul was beating everyone..we were all laughing and joking and having great conversation..I wish he could still be with us today b/c it is not very often you find a wonderful person like Paul was...He will always be missed and remembered by not only me, but many other ppl who's lives he has touched as much as he touched mine! My deepest sympathy to the family...May God give you the strength you need day to day....Much love Always & Forever~!

It's been about two months now since Paul passed and not a day goes by that I don't think about him and wish he could be here. I knew my life wouldn't be the same with out him and it's only now that I realize how much he really meant to me. I can't express how sorry I am to his family. I know that one day we will be there with him and I just can’t wait to finally hug and kiss him again! I know that he's watching over us and protecting us.

To The Hendrix Family-
Our sorrow for your loss can not be measured in words. Know that our love for you and your family is endless. Having met Paul at Christmas, there is no doubt his passing is a profound loss for everyone who knew him.
With all the lives he touched,
And all who felt his love,
Paul was, in his way,
Like the stars shine from above.

To the Mazzell family I've grown to know as my own... My whole life, I've been coming down to visit and you always made me feel so welcome and close. During this Christmas break was the first time I had seen Paul in over 4 years and he still greeted me like it was yesterday - like when we were fishing in the back pond or lighting off fireworks in the front yard. He always had a way of making you feel good even without having to say much. Just his grin alone or his relaxed and happy go-lucky personality made you feel comfortable to be around him.
You all know how sorry I and everyone else is for the loss of Paul and nothing anyone can say about him will ever be enough. It's true what they say . . . the good die young. My only regret about knowing Paul is I didn't get to know him enough. See ya when we see ya Paul.

To the Hendrix family, I am so sorry for your loss. Paul was a great person and can never be replaced.

Paul always greeted us with a firm handshake and a warm hug. These will give us comfort and strength. His mischievous grin will bring us smiles and brighten our days. Our memories will last forever . . .

Paul was one of a kind. He always had a smile on his face. His jokes could make anyone laugh. I was not as close with Paul as some, however he has touched my life. I will never forget the talks we had and the times we shared with our mutual friends. To Danielle and his family, I am truely sorry for your loss. Rest in peace Paul and know that you are missed by everyone.

I was not privileged to know Paul or his immediate family. But from what Yvonne tells me, he was quite an extraordinary young man. She and Robin are devasted by the loss.
I enjoyed seeing the photos. Wish I could be of some help to the family. If any type of memorial is planned, I would like to assist with it. Just remember, each week, it will be a little easier for all. The idea is not to forget him, but to replace the feelings of loss with the wonderful, fond memories that you have. So, each time you think of something that reminds you of him, bring up a funny or fond memory. I realize that you all know this, but sometimes it helps to hear it again.

Paul was a great person. He could take the bad and turn it around as good!! He rode to school with me one year and every morning it was a surprise, whether it was him being late or debating who was going to ride in the front; Of course paul would always win!!! I'm really going to miss paul!! The way i look at it is the Lord wants the good people up there with him, He couldn't have picked a better person.Many prayers and thoughts to his family!!

For those of you who did not have the pleasure of meeting this beautiful, free spirit, I am profoundly sorry. To all of his many, dear friends, thank you for sharing his life. I got the privilege of meeting Paul for the first time a few months ago. He hugged me as if I was apart of the family. I remember his beautiful smile and that he was very sweet.

I teach at the high school, and even though I did not teach Paul, he would visit my classroom frequently to say hello, to pick on me, and to simply chat. I remember Paul so vividly--his smile, his jokes, his hats, and his insights. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

I taught Paul at the high school and I honestly have to say that there are few students that garnered such respect and affection from their peers in all my years of teaching. He was a funny and beloved fellow. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Highschool would have NOT been the same without my Paul, so full of life. Enjoying every minute as if it were his last. Paul was energetic, and outgoing making every opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. If his friend was down, he knew exactly what to do to cheer them up. He was a great person, and he will always be remember for the smile, the joy and the happiness he broght to everyone around him. I'm so sorry for your loss, all are in my prayers.
