To the Family and friends of Mr. Beaufort,
It's hard to say "good-bye" to an angel on earth. Mr. Beaufort was one of the kindest, most considerate people I've ever known. He was such a loving, gentle soul. He was an example to follow. He couldn't have been anything but an angel on earth.
I'm going to miss his funny stories. Two of my favorite were about how his daughter got her nickname "Meat" (it just made me giggle that she signed the book that way!) and about how his calf loved those juicy watermelons as much as the rest of us. He was just so funny talking about how every time he turned around that calf was right in that melon patch! Too cute!
Mr. Beaufort (I never could call him by his first name, he just deserved that much respect!) was one of the finest examples of how hard work and integrity pay off. Holidays just won't be the same without his annual visits to bring collards, turnips and "Big Momma" sweet taters! Summer is going to be rough without those sweet, juicy, red watermelons. (I don't know how that cow will get along without them!) His fruits and vegetables were the best you could ever put in your mouth. It's just not going to be the same, he spoiled us so much. I used to tease him that he was trying to "fatten me up". ::big grin:: He thought that was so funny!
I'm going to miss you, Mr. Beaufort! You touched so many lives in such a special way. Thank you for everything! I thank the good Lord above for allowing us what little time we did have with you, here on earth. I know He will comfort and keep your family close, now that He's called you home.
Good-night, Sweet Angel! We miss you. See you soon! (Yes, I promise to be good! ::big, belly laugh::)

To the Beaufort Family,
I grew up along with many of the Beaufort Family members, and my heart also is saddened by Marion's passing. I will miss Bro. Marion because he always had a way of making you smile every time you saw him. If you were down, he would lift you up. He kept a smile and was always happy to see you. I know that God makes no mistake, He only comes to gather His own. I will continually keep all of you in prayer. (Pat)
