Please accept my sincere sympathy on Marilyn's passing. It was a shock to learn she is no longer here, and I share your grief. Marilyn and I became friends while working together at the Mt Pleasant Library. Over time we became closer and closer until finally, we talked several times a week and checked in on each other and helped out one another if we possibly could. I always encouraged Marilyn to improve her health and last fall we agreed that this spring we would start walking together on DI, a little bit at a time. I am so very sorry that was not to be. The last time we talked on March 15th she was leaving the hospital. I tried to reach her by phone several times after that, with no luck. Just as I was thinking of going to her apartment, I saw the obituary. I am so very sorry I could not help Marilyn and that she passed without my knowing she had fallen ill again. I expect my phone to ring every day to hear from her and I already miss her greatly. She had many good qualities and I am sorry more people didn't know her and enjoy her personality as I was able to do. For that, I am thankful. Wishing you all God's peace and good memories as you good forward.

Zan and Jimmy, I was so very sorry to hear of Marilyn´s death. We worked together for several years in the Mt. Pleasant Library´s Children´s Department where she taught many new mothers the importance of Early Literacy in her Babygarden story times. Please know you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
