Marian Sanders Obituary

Marian Sanders Holly Hill, SC - Marian Goff Sanders, age 84, of Holly Hill, South Carolina (formerly of Hanahan, SC) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday evening, February 15, 2022, surrounded by family. Marian was born August 8, 1937 in Kershaw County, SC. She was a twin, a sister, a mother, a grandmother and a great-grandmother. Marian was an active member of Highland Park Baptist Church until she moved to Holly Hill. She was active in the Singles Ministry, Meals on Wheels, Sages, Coed 4 Sunday School. She helped in the kitchen for Wednesday night suppers. She was also a baker extraordinaire! She worked in the pass office at Detyens Shipyard. Marian was predeceased by her parents, Alma and Ansel Goff, her brother, Charlie Goff, a sister, Doris Reeves, her twin, Mildred Smith, and her ex-husband, Clark Sanders. She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Butts (Ray) of Holly Hill, a grandson, Glenn Williams (Robin), two granddaughters, Crystal Dickerson (Allan), and Raychal Malone (Jeff) and 6 great-grandchildren, a sister, Joann Roberts (Don) of Hanahan, SC, a brother, Gene Goff (Betty) of Savannah, GA. Friends are invited to visit at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, February 20th at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., a "Life Well Celebrated" service at 12:30 p.m. followed by interment at Carolina Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church - Busy Hands - 6211 Murray Drive, Hanahan, SC.
