Marian King Obituary

Marian Sauls King BRUNSON, SC - Mrs. Marian Sauls King of Sandy Run Road near Brunson, died Sunday evening at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. King was born in Hampton County July 25, 1932, a daughter of the late Henry Joe and Lillie Clifton Sauls. She retired from Scottsman in Fairfax as an inspector and was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church. She loved working in the yard with her flowers and cooking Sunday meals for her family. She was the widow of Thomas Eustice King and Henry Bivins. Surviving are: Daughter: Linda King Terry and husband "Puddy" of Brunson; Step-Daughters: Linda Braddock of Brunson, Juanita Bivins of Brunswick, GA and Deloris Reeves of Palatka, FL; Sisters: Martha Gibson of Mullins, Helen Wooten of Hampton, and Joanne Hess of Hicksville, NY. There are 7 Grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Mrs. King was predeceased by Sons: Tommy and Larry King; Brother: Joe Sauls Jr.; Sisters: Nell Hoover and Molly Brabham; and a Great Granddaughter: Victoria Tuten. Funeral services will be 11 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. R. P. Hodge, with burial in the Johnson - St. Paul Cemetery.
