Maria Contreras Obituary

Maria Contreras CHARLESTON - Maria Contreras, of Charleston, SC, 91, wife of Tomas Contreras, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 24, 2025. She was born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, on October 16, 1933. Mrs. Contreras was a loving and caring woman who took care of as many people as she possibly could, Mrs. Contreras was someone who was always there when you needed her. Her family didn't just mean the world to her, they were her world. Mrs. Contreras is survived by his loving son, Tomas Contreras and his wife, Renee; a daughter, Cristina Contreras and her husband, Joseph; four grandchildren, Sean Contreras, Elizabeth Contreras, Danny Fortune, Sadie Fortune and a great-grandchildren, Sofia Contreras, Brooklynn Hahn, and Maddox Kelly. A Visitation will be held on Friday August 1, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Ave., North Charleston, SC 29406. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The Burial will follow at 3:00 pm at Carolina Memorial Gardens.
