Marguerite Brown Obituary

Marguerite B. Brown CHARLESTON - Mrs. Marguerite B. Brown, 86, of Charleston, S.C., the widow of Mr. Josie Brown, Sr., passed away on Wednesday evening, July 31, 2024. Mrs. Brown's funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 AM in Zion Olivet Presbyterian Church, located at 3347 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29405. The viewing for Mrs. Brown will begin the morning of the services at 9:30 A.M. until the commencement of the services. Live Oak Memorial Gardens, located at 3093 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414, will be the site of Mrs. Brown's burial. Mrs. Brown leaves behind to cherish her memories six beloved children: Josie Brown, Jr., Francona Shuler (Anthony), Evadne Edmond, Vincent Brown (Cynthia), Roberta Brown (Willie), and Felicia Current (Gerald); one devoted niece, Linda Smalls. Fourteen grandchildren; Eight great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.palmettomortuary.com.
