In our lives there are many people that have had profound influences in our lives. Aunt Margie and Uncle Maynard have been two of those people. I have always looked up to them with the highest respect. Aunt Margie was a loving and extraordinary caring woman. We would lovingly aggravate each other and enjoy every minute of it. Barbara and I are truly blessed to have had her for an aunt. She will always be missed. We love you all.

There is no one that I have ever met that was kinder, more loving than Margie (Maynard was not far behind) . When I started my Oral Surgery Practice in 1976, I was a co-worker, using a single operatory in Dr Robinson´s office. Margie was the heart and soul, teaching us all kindness, empathy and professionalism.
I have loved her and stayed in touch with the La Portes ever since.
I am certain that she is walking God´s Garden as I write this.

Margie was such a sweet and caring lady. I had the pleasure of meeting up with her on many occasions dancing. I loved to watch her work a room by sharing a dance with young and older. She had nothing but sweet comments to others throughout the room. She always carried a sweet smile even though you knew she did not feel well. She rarely shared her pain but, the smile and kindness Margie always shared will be greatly missed.
