Margie Jacobs Obituary

JACOBS, Margie GEORGETOWN - Margie Powers Jacobs, 89, widow of Troy Clifford Jacobs, died Wednesday, February 7, 2007 at Georgetown Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 10, 2007 in Graham Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery Annex. Mrs. Jacobs was born September 23, 1917, in Georgetown County, a daughter of the late Henry Powers and the late Massie Powers. She was a retired Laboratory Technician with International Paper Company. She was a member of the Johnson Chapel Baptist Church and Adult Sunday School Class. She enjoyed gardening and cooking for her family and friends. Surviving are: three sons, Roy C. Jacobs and his wife Judy of Georgetown, Tony Duwayne Jacobs and his wife Sylvia of Moncks Corner, and Troy Lavern Jacobs and his wife Joanne of Georgetown; one sister, Bessie Owens Durant of Richmond, VA; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; three step-grandchildren;1 step-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one brother and one sister. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Friday, February 9, at GRAHAM FUNERAL HOME.
