Al, Dell, Rooster,
We just learned of your mother's passing and we are so very sorry. It is so ironic that we lost 2 great ladies from Orvid Street within less than 2months of each other. Our prayers and thoughts are with you; we certainly understand the void that loss of a mother can create.

Al and family - Bob and I were oot when your mom passed away so we just found out. Margie was such a solid, loving, honest compassionate 'tell it how it is' person and was always supportive in any any animal issue I was calling about. Margie will be missed by so many in the community. We are so sorry and just want you to know you are all in our prayers and thoughts. With deepest sympathy-

I didn't know Margie very well, as I met her through some dear friends who were her neighbors. However, from what they have told me about her and my brief acquaintance with her, she was a remarkable woman. My heart goes out to you and my thoughts and prayers are with you. May God provide comfort to you at this sad time in your lives.

When I was a much-younger man,1964- 1970, I was a member of the Charleston County Police Dept. Mrs Margie was the person who controlled the court of Mag. Eugene Herron. Those were some GREAT days! Somehow, I really miss that time

both my husband and I enjoyed sitting with and getting to know Margie at the Citadel baseball games - due to my husband's illness we were unable to visit with the family but please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers

I would like to extend my sympathy to the entire Cannon family. Judge Cannon was one of the most respected women that I have ever had the pleasure to come in contact with in my entire law enforcement career. You will be missed by all. God Bless You

I was very saddened to hear of your mom's passing.Although I haven't seen her for a while I have fond memories of her when we worked together in the 70's and 80's. She was a judge and I was a state highway patrolman and later a SLED agent.I always remember her as a firm but fair judge and law enforcements friend. They don't make em' like her anymore.She leaves behind a lot of friends.

I have fond memories of Magistrate Cannon when I worked as a Trooper in Charleston county. She was fair and understanding and a joy to come visit on the days I set court at her office. God bless you all in your time of grieving and comfort your family.

Al, (and the the whole family since I know most all of you)

I hope you know how much Alton and Margie meant to me while I was at Cherokee Place. They treated my like family, and y'all were kind enough to do the same. I came across Margie's name in a sermon just this week, and it made me smile. Just a few months ago I reread the sermon I preached at Al's funeral and it brought tears to my eyes once again. They were both special people and world seems a little emptier today knowing Margie is gone. My thoughts and prayers are will you all.

You mother and grandmother was a remarkable lady. May your family find comfort in knowing that she has lived a good life with a kind heart.
