Memories and Condolences

November 18, 2009

To The Family of the Late Margherita Fielding,

Please accept my most heartfelt prayers and concern for your loss. She was quite the beautiful, elegant lady and while my visits with her were brief(as I worked for the family funeral home), it was always pleasant, easy and comfortable talking to Ms. Margherita.

Thank goodness Our Grand Creator and Sustainer of life, Jehovah God, has already provided for this very thing that we all struggle to cope with - when a loved one falls asleep in death,(and all the other problems of our lives) thru the ransom sacrifice of his Son, Christ Jesus. We can now be assured our complete and lasting happiness will come, 'Your dead ones will live & rise up.' Isa. 26:19 And all things will be made new. 2 Peter 3:13

He is a God, not of the dead, but of the living for they are ALL living to him. Luke 20: 37, 38 Almighty God not only has the power to resurrect his dear ones but he wants to awaken his dear ones. Acts 24:15

We can be sure Ms. Margherita is as dear to the One, who really counts, just as she is to us. May the God of every comfort we need, bless & strengthen you with His Care and Keeping as you go through these difficult times.

To the Family of the late Mrs. Margherita Fielding, including, David, and siblings, "Aunt" Ruthie, Carol(Atty. Ed), and Little Miss Kendall, Calias, and siblings; "Uncle" George, The Honorable Mayor George Jr. of Trenton, NJ and siblings; and "Aunt" "Toole" and sibling, "Uncle" "D. D.," and Leroy R. "Bobby" Palmer (whom my late mother taught in first grade),

I extend my Deepest Sympathy upon hearing of the loss of "Aunt" Margherita. One fond memory I have of recent times was joining the family at the residence to bring in the New Year with good conversation, good fellowship, and a great menu that consisted of Hoppin' John, rice, collards, bread pudding,..., well, you get the picture. She was the perfect hostess. Another was recently crossing paths with "Aunt" Margherita and "Aunt" Ruthie at Gaillard Auditorium. When those two would gettogether, I'd always be intrigued about the stories they'd share as little sisters growing up. I'll continue to pray as "praises go up, blessings come down." Also as it is so often said, "You pray for me, and I'll pray for you."

Prayerfully,

My heart ached when I heard of the passing of your mom, and sister. Margherita and I shared a wonderful and close relationship when we worked together at the VA many years ago. She was a joy to be around.
Although I was young enough to be her daughter, we shared a bond that lasted for years after life took us in different directions. She was a beautiful person, inside & out. She had style, grace and class.
My prayers are with you all. We know that no one can replace her in your lives, but there is a God, whose love can fill the void, and in time, heal the pain.
God Bless You

Margherita was such a delight. Each visit we found ourselves like old friends. I loved the stories of travel and the BMW. I hope she learned to love the new car as well. She will truly be missed by someone who adired her so. My condolences to the family.
