In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

For a friend that I have learned
to love as a son and a brother, hearing of your lost hurts. We must remember that earthly comforts are loaned. They are not gifts, for all that we possess is GOD's property. HE has only lent them, and what HE lends HE has a right to take.Therefor, my son do not complain when GOD takes HIS own. In a world where thorns and briars grow, it is natural that some sharp points will pierce you. From the heart of me and my wife (Jackie), we love you. ~GOD Bless~
