Margaret McLin Obituary

Margaret Cooler McLin WALTERBORO - Margaret Cooler McLin, widow of Ray E. "Moose" McLin, died Sunday in Seneca, SC. She was 84. Mrs. McLin was born Sept. 30, 1931 in Ridgeland, SC and was a daughter of the late Harry Benjamin Cooler and Lila Zealy Cooler. She was an office manager for Cypress Woods Corp. in Ridgeland, where she retired after 30 years. Her favorite pastime activity was spending as much time as possible with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Walterboro, SC. She is survived by her children: Ray Elliott McLin, Jr. (Nancy) of Summerville, Donna J. McLin of Charleston, Gerri M. Burr (Kenny) of Bluffton, and Laurita M. Greagan of Seneca. She has two sisters, Nell C. Bailey of Okatie, SC and Edith C. Bamberg of Charleston. There are seven grandchildren: Karen N. Way (Justin), Kelli N. Myers (Denny), Kenneth C. Burr, Jr., Jeremy M. Burr, Erin C. Burr-Sefick (Matthew), Margaret R. Greagan-Menin (Adriano) and Ray Elliott McLin, III. She has eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday in the Greenlawn Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 940 Hendersonville Hwy. Walterboro, SC. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6 - 8 PM at Parker-Rhoden Funeral Home, 117 Paul St., Walterboro, SC.
