To the Mays family,
I will forever hold a dear place in my heart for your mother. I was a student of hers in 1969, in the seventh grade when she taught at Simonton Elementary, once located on Jasper Street. I teach today because of the inspiration she gave me. You have my prayers and deep felt sympathy.
