Margaret "Peg" Katherine Meredith Kelly Charleston - Margaret "Peg" Katherine Meredith Kelly, 95, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of John "Jack" Kelly, entered into eternal rest Sunday, November 21, 2021. Her Private Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 24, 2022 in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Beaufort, SC. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held in Beaufort National Cemetery. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel. Peg was born August 20, 1926 in Morgantown, West Virginia, daughter of the late Thomas Owen Meredith and Eva Johnson Meredith. She was a graduate of Davis and Elkins College, where she met her beloved Jack, and married in 1951. Peg was a member of the Country Club of Charleston and The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. She is survived by her son, Michael John Kelly of Atlanta, GA; two daughters: Karen Kelly Brown (Bill) Okatie, SC and Kathleen Kelly of Charleston, SC; four grandchildren, Meredith Brown (Bryan Gendron), Alex Brown, Sean Kelly and Patrick Kelly (Jessica); and two great-grandchildren: Jack Gendron and Will Gendron.
