Margaret Keane Harken CHARLESTON - Entered into eternal rest on June 18, 2012, Margaret Keane Harken, of Charleston, SC and widow of Robert Earl Harken. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at 1:00 pm in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL Tuesday between 10:00 am and 12 Noon where a Rosary Service will be recited at 11:00 am. Born January 30, 1923 in Charleston, SC, Margaret was a daughter of the late John Joseph Keane and Clement Coates Keane. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic and a retired Office Manager with the Charleston Constructors, Inc. Margaret was also a member & past officer of Women in Construction, Life Member of the B.P.O.E. DOES and Past President, Life Member of the Charleston Rifle Club Ladies Auxiliary, Lector at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was a founding member of the Women's Guild. Surviving are her daughter Carol Anne Harken of Charleston; two sons, Robert E. Harken, Jr. of Atlanta, GA and Frederick R. Harken of Charleston; four grandchildren, William Wyndham, John Harken, Bobby Harken and Ryan Harken. Margaret was predeceased by a daughter, Peggy Harken.
