Sue taught both of our sons at Buist Academy in Charleston. They both like her a lot. She could make a social studies lesson come to life. She had a wonderful gift.

I taught with Sue for several years at Memminger and became her friend. She loved teaching math/social studies and inspired a love of learning in her students. Her knowledge of her subject areas provided opportunities to teach teachers, also, through workshops. She had a passion for the Southwest and shared many stories about her travels and teaching on the reservation. Caring for her mother brought her back to Charleston to work in the public schools. Her love of cats, sense of humor and lively conversation will be greatly missed!

I met Sue only on 2 occasions both for discussing business. Even though she was obviously a very sick lady plus experiencing great pain and discomfort from her ailments, she was very kind to me and put forth a very positive and cheery presence. Sue, may God take you into His arms and hold you tight let you be with Him today in Paradise!

Sue was a teacher at Buist Academy during the time my sons were students there. She was a caring, compassionate teacher who genuinely cared about her students. She was also a good friend and will be missed.

My heartfelt condolences to the family of Sue Fike. Ms. Fike and I worked together at Brentwood and Morningside Middle Schools. She had so much to offer her students and her co-workers. Her gentle kindness was ever present. Rest in Paradise.

I was Sues classmate at Rivers High School during the early 1960's. I found her to be an intelligent , kind lady who I am proud to have called my friend.
