Margaret Cox Obituary

COX, Margaret Entered into eternal rest, Margaret Coolidge Middleton Cox, 101 years old, on the morning of Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at her son Dennis' home in Goose Creek, SC. She was the widow of Dennis B. Cox, Sr. She was born June 14, 1907 in Prince George, Maryland daughter of the late Madge Bohrer Coolidge and Edmund Coolidge. She lived in Wakefield, Virginia until the death of her husband and then moved to Goose Creek in 2000. Surviving are her daughter, Doris Liverman of Spring Hill, FL, sons Richard Middleton (Wanda) of Sanford, FL, Dennis B. Cox, Jr. (Elsie) of Goose Creek, SC, Steven Cox (Angie) of Virginia. Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Edmund Coolidge and Benjamin Coolidge, a twin sister, Anne Herrman, and a daughter, Betty Ann Shoemaker. The family and friends will gather for her memorial service Sunday December 7, at 5:00 o'clock p.m. in the Tall Pines Baptist Church, 645 Treeland Drive, Ladson SC 29456. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tall Pines Baptist Church (Building Fund) or Hospice of Charleston, 3870 Leeds Ave., N. Charleston SC 29405.
