Joe: I am very sorry to learn of your wife's passing. I think of the good years we had at Life of Georgia. We continue to lose old Friends and wives of old friends. May GOD give you peace and comfort in the days that lie ahead.

So this memory popped up today in my e-mail. It is funny that should happen as I ran across a photo the other day of your Mom, myself and several others from the hospital celebrating a visit from a mutual friend who was in town visiting. That was a fun night at California Dreaming. I just wanted you to know that Peggy is remembered with love and her name comes up often in conversations.

Dear Beth and Kathy,
I want you to know what an honor it was to care for your mom. I know she is a special lady because she has two amazing daughters. Her love for others and the way she touched peoples lives was evident everyday by those that visited her and all the wonderful things they said about her. She truly is a great Lady. My heartfelt condolences. and I'm so sorry I couldn't be with you and her in her final moments. Hug Mr. Bivens for me and let him know I miss his wonderfully deep comforting voice telling her how much he loved her. I know that gave her great comfort and reassurance that her companion was always by her side.

Dear Joe, Beth and Cathy, Peggy was a wonderful nurse, co-worker and friend to me. We worked together, car-pooled for years and she watched my children grow as I heard about y'all and your lives. I am so grateful for her friendship, she will be forever missed. Love, Barbara Jackson

Dear Beth, This is a shock. Your mama looks so vibrant in all of the photos. She has stepped into glory. The separation is so hard for us left here on Earth. She beat us there, Beth. What a wonderful, spunky lady your mama was. Love, Mary Beth

To Joe, Beth and Cathy. I met Peggy the first time in the mid 1960's when I oriented her to the nursery at Roper. It was the beginning of a long friendship. I always thought of Peggy as the "energizer bunny". I never thought she would ever stop. I know she will be missed by all. My prayers are with you. Dotte Bowman, Apex, N.C.

Hi my sista’ Beth, I would just like to share a poem from an unknown author, of which I’ve rearranged a few words to comfort you and the family:
"Peggy’s journey’s just begun, don’t think of her as gone away, for life holds many facets, and this earth is only one. Just think of her as resting, from the sorrows and tears. In a place of warmth and comfort, where there are no days or years. Think how she would be wishing, that you could know today, that all your sadness will really pass away. So…think of her as living, in the hearts of all those whom she touched. For nothing LOVED is ever lost because she loved you ALL so much." God Bless, Jackie

From Rudy and Patsy, Mary Jo, Patricia, and Walt:
We are so sorry to hear about Peggy. I always remember her in her nurse's uniform, she gave so much comfort to so many people when they were in need and hurting. She had a special talent for making people feel that everything would be better. We will miss her.

Rudy and I were so saddened to know Peggy will no longer be with us; however, we are so happy she is with our Father in Heaven. She is smiling and looking down upon those of us she loves.
