ERNEST WADE Obituary
Ernie Wade age 95, passed at Southbridge Lakehead on October 15, 2025.
Born on the Moss, Blackpool England, he emigrated to Canada in 1952 as a young man. He taught ballroom dancing at Arthur Murray where he met Anne the love of his life. They married in 1958 and raised their beloved daughter Susan. Ernie worked at Great Lakes Paper for 30 years. A caring, upstanding man with a sense of humour, he put his family first, caring for his wife into her last years and offering guidance and support to his daughter. Ernie was an avid gardener, loved sports and daily coffee breaks. He will be deeply missed by family and friends here and in the UK.
Ernie is survived by his daughter Susan, sister Margaret, nieces Sue (Mike), Valerie (Allan), Debbie (Terry), nephew David (Vicky), cousin Dennis, other cousins and special friends.
Predeceased by his wife Anne, his parents and brothers Joe and Thomas.
A Celebration of Life to be held at a later time. Donations to a Charity of Your Choice welcome.

Susan, (( Big Hugs)) I am saddened to Learn of You Dad's Passing, I would like to Express My Condolences and Deepest Sympathy To You and The Family at this Very Sad and Difficult Time, l know You were so close and Such a Wonderful Daughter. Sad day worked with Ernie for 10 years at the mill road the bus with him to work until I got a car we thought it was funny when I would say hey Ernie and ask him a question and he would say well Ernie with his accent and answer the question we laughed so hard having the same name lol. Ernie was an awesome hard working man RIP Ernie
