To the family, I'm sorry for your loss. Please know that Ms Tee is champion, a leader, and a mom to many . She will be deeply missed but always be in our hearts. During your time of bereavement , remember that God has his Angel.

Like many, my family & I have known Mrs Tee for quite sometime & to get to know this wonderful women is to love her. She have touch the lives of many young & old. You taught me soooo much. You were an inspiration to many. I went to daycare there, summer camp and after school program at the city gym. I occasionally played sports with the city gym too. I am gonna miss her so much. My condolences are with the family.

Legends are born , and unfortunately must pass their expertise on to the heavenly angels. Her legacy will never be forgotten, Don't make them like Ms.T any more , treasure her memories.

Ms. Tee! This woman is a Charleston hero! She is one of the main reasons I am the woman I am today! She taught me how to play ball, gave me my first job, she was there when I even had my first blood draw. She held my hand the whole time! Words cannot express what my family and I are experiencing at this time. Marchitta, affectionately known by most as "Ms. Tee" has been a role model to the community of children and adults for many years, not only at Arthur Christopher Community Center, but in the surrounding areas as well. Ms. Tee was very approachable, because she employed patience to all she came in contact with, she really was a true SOLDIER. We will truly miss her, but she will always remain in our hearts and thoughts. Frayer and Ferrette family, continue to be blessed...remember, God will never leave nor forsake you.

An advocate for the voiceless, a champion for children, sports lover, and a fun loving manager, mother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. Marchitta L. I remember Ms. T like yesterday. She'd .help many single mother with raising their children at the gym. And for some reason if you had a problem with your child(boy/girl) all you had to say is. I"M TAKING YOU TO THE GYM WITH MS. T and that child would look at you and say mommy i'm going to be good. Because if you knew Ms. t like did she was our Medea. she had CONTROL.. Strong legend I'm going to miss her. I love you dearly.Their will never be a replacement for her in my heart.

You never know who you will be in the obituaries. Seeing Marchitta today brings sadness but fond memories of her in Burke's gym hitting those baskets and the crowd going "Whoosh". Peace to the family.

It's been many years since I last saw or have been around Tee but hearing the news brought a deep sadness. I looked up to her in many ways - her zest for life, her humor and ability to make everyone laugh and feel good, her dedication to the community and above all her family; her athleticism (all that I didn't learn about swimming from my brothers, I learned from her); and her music ability. Tee was a true renaissance woman and her presence on Earth will be missed. Take a bow, girl - take a bow.
