I'm at a lost for words, as his counselor at James Island High I found Marcel to be the most likable of young men I have known. As a friend of the family, I am soo sadened by this tragic loss. May all who have been touched by this beautiful young man find peace, and may I never forget how fortunate I was to have been given the honor to share so much of his youthful innocence.
With my deepest sadness and love forever.

"Dear Sister"
by: Brenna Robinson
I would not want you to feel for me.
I'm in a place with the Lord you see, my body is only six feet under, but as you can see my spirit they cannot plunder.
I do not want you to stop your life for me, as you can see my spirit is finally free.
No more suffering, and no more hurt.
I am now one with Mother Earth.
I am the Sun and the Rain,
I am the grass sprinkled with dew.
The strong wind and I move as one.
I am there when the season turns anew.
Do not fret dear sister, I'll always be near.
Answering quiet prayers from far away and near.
But please, of all I ask of you, there is one thing you might do, that won't let my soul be.
I do not want you to cry for me.
