Maralynne was in choir with us at St. Augustine's in Augusta prior to her move to Charleston. She was a delightful, loving, generous friend. I'm so sorry we did not maintain our connection after her move, having seen her only briefly in the first years she was in Charleston, and then having lost touch completely. She was an accomplished professional even then, but to her friends, she was just funny, witty Maralynne. Here's to a life well-lived and fully embraced. Godspeed, our friend.

Maralynne was my teacher in 1979. She was my inspiration. What an amazing person. I will miss her very much.

I worked for Maralynne in the 90s as one of the admin assistants for the department. She was such a wonderful person and this is very sad news. My thoughts are with her family and friends during this difficult time.

I had long known Maralynne's skills as an OT educator from afar, but was most impacted when she volunteered to be my mentor in a fellowship program about the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning in Occupational Therapy. Maralynne's impact was far reaching, I miss her presence in my world.
