Maisie Lee Tidwell Enfinger Charleston - Maisie Lee Tidwell Enfinger, 83, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of James C. Enfinger, Sr., entered into eternal rest Sunday, September 9, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment will follow in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens. Maisie was born March 8, 1935 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Troy C. Tidwell, Sr., and Garnie Davis Tidwell. She was a retired Charleston County Public Works Office Manager. Maisie was past president of the James Island Fire Department Women's Auxiliary and a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna M. Chatelle (Melvin Lowry) of Richmond, VA, Stephanie C. Hempton of Santee, SC; two sons, James C. Enfinger, Jr. (Karen) of Atlanta, GA, and Karl D. Enfinger (Lisa) of Charleston, SC; three sisters, Margie Dillard of Lexington, SC, Mary Helen Tidwell of Columbia, SC and Shirley Fredrick of Fayetteville, SC; nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother Troy Tidwell, Jr. in addition to her parents and husband. Memorials may be made to Pinecrest Baptist Church, 1285 Ashley Hall Road, Charleston, SC, 29407.
